Citadel Sanctum Music Festival

Citadel made its debut at West Art this past weekend, and honestly, it couldn’t have gone better. Hosted by Montclair Breakfast and YDA Danial, the night brought together 12 artists across every genre, creating a lineup that felt fresh, unpredictable, and full of energy.

For a first-time festival, the space was electric. West Art was packed wall-to-wall with a sold-out crowd, but it never felt overwhelming. Each artist brought something totally different to the table, which kept the energy shifting in the best way possible. One minute you were lost in heavy bass, the next you were swaying to dreamy vocals or caught in an experimental groove.

By the end of the night, people weren’t rushing to leave. The conversations kept going, photos were being snapped, and you could feel the buzz of a community already excited for what’s next.
