Jack Ritter

Jack Ritter’s path into live entertainment was shaped long before he ever stepped into a formal production role. From as early as he can remember, the industry was part of his world. Growing up with family members already working in entertainment, Jack spent his formative years tagging along to festivals, concerts, and live shows. What might have felt ordinary to others became foundational for him, early exposure to music, large-scale events, and the energy of live production planted a deep and lasting passion.

As Jack grew older and began attending more concerts on his own, the scale of production expanded, and so did his curiosity. While many were focused on the performance itself, Jack found himself drawn to what happened before and after the show. Load-ins, load-outs, stage builds, crew coordination, and the roles that often go unnoticed fascinated him. He made a point to talk with crew members, ask questions, and learn about positions that are critical to a show’s success but rarely highlighted. These behind-the-scenes experiences didn’t just spark interest; they clarified direction. Jack began to see a career path forming, one built on technical skill, leadership, and respect for the collaborative nature of live events.

Through an industry connection, Jack landed his first opportunities doing local stage work. What started small quickly grew. As venue sizes increased, so did his responsibilities, confidence, and understanding of production workflows. Each show became a learning experience, sharpening his technical abilities while teaching him how to operate under pressure, adapt to new environments, and work as part of a tightly coordinated team. His growth was steady and intentional, driven by genuine passion rather than the pursuit of recognition.

In August 2025, Jack took a significant step forward by enrolling in the Academy of Live Technology. While he didn’t enter the program with a rigid plan for where it would lead, he knew it would push his skills to the next level. The Academy provided him with deeper insight into staging techniques, production systems, and leadership in professional live environments. Just as importantly, it helped refine his ability to lead crews, communicate effectively, and approach production with both technical precision and big picture awareness.

Today, Jack Ritter serves as the Stage and Production Manager for the Montclair Breakfast team. In this role, he brings a strong leadership presence, a deep respect for every position on a crew, and a hands-on understanding of what it takes to execute successful live events. His lifelong exposure to the industry, combined with real-world experience and formal training, allows him to bridge vision and execution seamlessly.

Jack’s story is one of proximity, curiosity, and commitment. He represents the often unseen backbone of live entertainment, the people who build the stage, coordinate the chaos, and ensure that every moment onstage is supported by thoughtful preparation behind it. Through Montclair Breakfast, Jack continues to channel his passion into creating meaningful, well executed experiences, proving that great shows are built long before the lights ever come up.
